The dominating timescape fabricated within westernized capitalist infrastructure is the linear-progressive one, the one Ursula Le Guin calls  “time’s killing arrow mode of the techno-heroic”,    by which progress rides an insatiable growth on the wheels of goal-oriented acceleration that modernity has evolved with.  To deviate from “time’s killing arrow” is to dance and spin and twirl into a circle, into a spiral. The shape of recursivity is seen all throughout nature through what is called autopoiesis, where a living system, or even a world, feeds into itself to reinforce its patterns, reproducing and maintaining itself. Earth’s cycles are like the shape of a circle, while interventions of evolution and consciousness pivot the circle into a shape of a spiral.

The intervention begins with consciousness of the interface, the habit. The consciousness of the habit we live is the ritual to turn a circle into a spiral.
